Scarantino's History
The Scarantino Family opened their first restaurant, named Dino's, in Pasadena in 1949. Jesse and his wife Joan opened Scarantino's in 1967. Their nephew Jim Scarantino took over in 1977 when Jesse retired. Many of the Scarantino recipes came from grandma Scarantino and still remain unchanged.
