some facts

Why choose us

We're known for our comfortable and friendly atmosphere, and generous portions of good food. Family owned and operated in Glendale since 1967.

some history

Mike Scarantino opened our family's first restaurant in 1949, and named it Dino's. In 1967, Mike's brother, Jesse, opened Scarantino's Italian Inn. Jesse's nephew, Jim Scarantino took over the restaurant in 1977. Jim's youngest son Jimmy is now overseeing the entire operation making sure that Scarantino's carries on for yet another generation.

we value our past

The food and decor haven't changed much over the last 48 years, and there are no plans on changing it anytime soon.

Old school Italian Inn since 1967. Four of us arrived for dinner on Father's Day Sunday at 700pm with no reservations. We were seated within 5 minutes, the place was busy and you could see all the employees hustling. Bread in a basket with cold butter was served and my daughter ate most of it and we had to order seconds.  We ordered the Chicken Parmesan, medium Glendale Special pizza and a kids spaghetti meal. The service was great, the food was really good, the pizza was good not the greatest I've had, and the Spumoni dessert that came with my daughters meal was yummy.
